Abstract:
Connected vehicle systems and associated Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) infrastructure are increasingly subject to security threats including security of embedded hardware devices. A modeling platform is needed in which the system resilience and trust relationships between V2G systems, charger systems, and communications networks can be identified and quantified. The dynamics of these network systems will provide the basis for risk mitigation initiatives, with the V2G system as a testbed for system security, resilience, and trust.
