Abstract:
This effort will use business process models of the hardware-device development lifecycle to identify and address sources of risk at the enterprise level. The effort will integrate progress of multiple CHEST technologies and research activities. The approach will be piloted in several CHEST testbeds, including: advanced electric-vehicle chargers, pharmaceutical supply chain integration with Internet-of-Things, hypersonic and other weapons systems, container freight tracking and security, and advanced renewable-energy systems. A resulting software tool will describe risk management in the business/enterprise model through the hardware-device development lifecycle and its relationship to a variety of CHEST activities and products.
