Maximize your research output & minimize your job search duration. Come and talk to those who have been there, done that!

The CS GSA & ECE GSA are organizing the "Research, Jobs & a Movie" event next Saturday (April 11th 2009). The purpose of this event is to help new students get started with their thesis / research and help older students get tips to graduate soon from others who are in the same boat. We will have few short presentations, a workshop on solving logical puzzles and a panel discussion with several senior students who will talk about their experiences, give their perspectives and answer all your questions. Of course, there will be pizza, coffee / cookies and a movie screening to end the day.

Where? 427 ERC (& 4th Floor Lobby of ERC)

When? Saturday, 04/11/2009 at 10AM

The tentative schedule is:

10AM - 11AM - "Research made Easier" Presentations

11AM - 11:15 AM - Coffee Break!

11:15 AM - 12:15PM - Logical Puzzles Workshop

Remember that this will be a completely informal event where you can pretty much ask & say anything you want! So start making a list of those questions that you were afraid to ask / didn't know whom to ask!

Any questions / comments about this event? Feel free to contact any of the CS GSA / ECE GSA committee members or visit http://cs.uc.edu/~csgsa .

Hope to see you there!
