Dissertation Defense Announcement:


The Graduate School 's website http://www.grad.uc.edu/gradAnn/Example.aspx?page=B provides an important new featureóDissertation Defense Announcement. This allows you to publicize your defense by your name, dissertation title, committee chair, and time and location of the defense. You are solely responsible for accuracy of information and your defense information should be pre-approved by your program. Defense of dissertation is an important event as you near completion of your degree, important for you individually and collectively for graduate education at the University of Cincinnati .

Please contact grad.infor@uc.edu if you have questions about posting your defense announcement, and best wishes for successful completion of your work.

University Libraries Workshops:


University Libraries offers a lot of workshops each quarter for UC students. For the latest list of workshops (and to register for the workshops) see: http://libraries.uc.edu/instruction/workshop/list_current.php

The workshops offered by the Engineering Library are usually very useful to ECE and CS students. The most relevant Engineering Library offers workshops are those on RefWorks, LaTeX, IEEE, ACM and INSPEC. These workshops usually do not have a mandatory pre-registration. However, students are encouraged to register for the same using the link above.

The Engineering Library workshops can also be viewed by clicking on "Workshops" from the Engineering Library homepage.
