GSGA travel award - Application Checklist

Applying for a GSGA student travel award? The following checklist is intended to help you submit a successful travel award application:

You answer should be "YES" for the following questions:

  1. Are you applying for the correct award?
  2. Did you read the eligibility criteria from the GSA website?
  3. Do you satisfy the eligibility criteria? Especially,
  4. Are you applying for an amount less than or equal to you available limit?
  5. If the application process requires you to so something BEFORE the travel (as in the CTA - Full Award and the RA award), did you follow those instructions?
  6. Are you applying for reimbursement of valid items?

Other helpful instructions:

  1. Make sure you have read the FAQs. It has a list of frequently asked questions regarding the application process as well as the common mistakes made by students while applying.
  2. Ensure that the CS GSA office bearer has verified your forms and receipts before signing your form.
  3. The UC Travel Expense Report (TER - A113) Envelope that is needed for submitting the application is available outside the GSGA office (at 683 Steger Student Life Center building - above Starbucks).
  4. The final forms must be submitted to the GSGA office (at 683 Steger Student Life Center building - above Starbucks).
